This couple is very special to me and photographing their wedding was a true honor. John is my best friend’s brother and I’ve known him for years. I was there when he proposed to Jennifer at my friend’s wedding. It was really great watching her reaction as he got down on one knee in front of everybody. A year later, their wedding was on September 25th, 2011.
From the start of the day, when I showed up at the hair salon, till we said our good byes, Jen was glowing. It was a little girl’s dream come true. She looked absolutely stunning in her gown and John kept on saying with pride, that his wife looks like a model. Well she really did! The entire day was beautiful, with the ceremony at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Wychoff and the reception at The Grove in Ceder Grove. I had so much fun photographing everything, especially all the dancing, Macedonian and Greek mixed together.
